Anatomy of a Sound Quality Dakota
System designed by: Darren Alcorn
Installation/Fabrication by: Jeff Smith and James Stanton, Sound Sensations
The following pages show the entire behind the scenes look at what it takes to build a Sound Quality oriented vehicle. From sound deadening to proper speaker placement and design it is all chronicled with many pictures. This system was merely a dream of mine a couple of years back as I started down the path of auditioning speakers and listenting to many other top sound quality vehicles. It wasn't until I stumbled upon Jeff Smith and James Stanton (formerly Audio Designs of Atlanta) at Sound Sensations in Marietta, GA that I knew what I had imagined would be better implemented by them. And so began the adventure to take the equipment and make those designs a reality. I can't thank these guys enough for the quality and craftsmanship they put into it. So without further ado, enjoy the many pictures and behind the scenes look at this project. If I can answer any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at darren@sidewindercustoms.com
